From Dental Hygiene to Mental Hygiene
For years, I built my career as a dental hygienist, helping people care for their oral health. I loved the hands-on work, the connection with patients, and the satisfaction of improving someone’s well-being in a tangible way.
Then life shifted suddenly.
I was diagnosed with rheumatoid arthritis, and the physical demands of my profession became impossible to sustain. Letting go of the career I had worked so hard for was emotionally depleting.
I found myself questioning my sense of identity, purpose, and direction.
Loss and Meaning
Years later, I faced another heartbreak: the loss of my father. That grief left me feeling unmoored once again. Life felt heavy and motionless.
During that time, my brother, a psychologist, gently suggested I learned about mindfulness. I did not know it then, but that recommendation would change the trajectory of my life.
Mindfulness and Self-Discovery
Mindfulness taught me how to stay in the moment, breathe through uncertainty, and meet myself with compassion. It created space when everything felt unmanageable and helped me clear the mental clutter of worry, grief, and self-doubt. Over time, I felt more grounded, more resilient, and more connected to a sense of calm and joy. That shift changed everything, and it’s what led me to help others perform with clarity, composure, and self-belief.
I’m Grateful You’re Here
I guide adolescents, professionals, and elite athletes to build mindful daily habits that create lasting, positive impacts on their mindset - leading to improved decision-making, self-awareness, self-mastery, and a discovery of their fullest potential - whether on the field, in the classroom or boardroom, or in daily life.
If you’re struggling with stress management, emotional regulation, rumination, and negative self-talk and are ready to explore a more grounded, compassionate way of caring for your mental well-being, I am here to support you.
